The three South African musicians shone bright on the 65th Grammy Awards stage held in Los Angeles, USA, on Monday morning (SA time) when they were announced as winners in a hotly contested category.
Nomcebo is signed to OpenMic Productions and Jerusalema, her collaboration with Master KG earned her international acclaim and recognitions. Winning a Grammy seals her status as the new voice of Africa, walking in the footsteps of giants like Miriam Makeba who won the Grammy in 1965.

Nomcebo reached a settlement with OpenMic Productions after a protracted legal battle that will now see her credited as a primary artist alongside Master KG on Jerusalema. She will record two new albums to be released as a joint venture between OpenMic Productions and Emazulwini Productions.
The Grammy winning single, Bayethe, currently available on all streaming platforms, will be administered through the joint venture with Africori operating as the distributor. After a long drawn out dispute, all parties look forward to a healthy and prosperous working relationship.
